Fulya Dairy Feed
Elite Group Dairy Cattle Feed

Feeding high-yielding dairy cows is a sensitive process that requires special care. During the last 15–20 days before calving, the appetite of pregnant dairy cows decreases significantly. Due to calving stress, their appetite remains low and they lose weight rapidly. As milk yield rises quickly while feed intake remains low, the animals cannot meet their energy requirements and begin to lose body condition. Rapid weight loss leads to metabolic problems such as uterine diseases. The feed used for high-yielding dairy cows must not only have the right energy and protein balance but also be highly digestible and palatable. If cows are not fed with a balanced ration containing adequate levels of energy, protein, vitamins, and minerals after calving, they do not show estrus. Ovarian cysts and uterine diseases increase, and conception rates decline. Cows must have access to quality, clean, and fresh water at all times. Restricting water to fixed times reduces feed intake and causes rumen acidosis, which in turn leads to lameness.
Usage
In addition to high-quality forages rich in energy and protein, it is recommended to feed between 4–14 kg per day, depending on the cow’s milk yield and body condition. The concentrate and roughage consumed by lactating cows throughout the day should be mixed and fed together. If feeding in a total mixed ration is not possible, then in meal feeding this feed should not exceed 3–4 kg per meal. If the daily intake is more than 8 kg, increasing the number of meals to 3 or 4 is beneficial. For high-yielding dairy cows, feeding should begin 3 weeks before calving. Within 24 hours after calving, cows should consume a total of 5 kg. Feeding with Şebnem Dairy Feed before calving also improves colostrum quality.
Why Fulya Dairy Feed?
Its high energy and protein content helps maintain body condition against the increased milk yield after calving. With its high digestibility and palatability, it increases feed intake even in cows with low appetite. The balanced vitamin and mineral content supports uterine health, improves estrus, and enhances fertility. Its buffering agents help stabilize rumen pH and reduce the risk of lameness. Bypass energy and protein sources help prevent rapid weight loss.
