Firuze Dairy Cattle Feed
Cattle Feed
Net: 50kg
After calving, the milk yield of cows shows a rapid upward trend. It reaches its peak within the first 70 days of lactation. During this period and afterward, proper feeding as well as suitable care and housing conditions are essential to maintain high milk production. Due to insufficient appetite after calving, body fat reserves are utilized, leading to rapid weight loss. As a result of this rapid loss, cows may develop ketosis (metabolic disorder) and fatty liver. During this period, cows may not show heat or may have silent estrus, and fertility problems often occur.
Usage
In addition to high-quality roughage with high energy content, it is recommended to use 5–13 kg per day, depending on the animal’s milk yield and body condition. If there is no possibility of preparing a total mixed ration, no more than 3–4 kg per meal should be given in meal-based feeding. If the daily feed intake exceeds 8 kg, increasing the number of meals to 3 or 4 is beneficial. For detailed ration planning, the support of our regional sales managers and technical team will be valuable to you.
